I'm Good. (Or At Least Better!)

I sat down yesterday and went through all our past curriculum books. I think I'm now on track and school will really start jumpin' tomorrow morning. (The kids aren't going to know what hit them.) lol

We've been reviewing and still doing SOME things, but I have a plan now and that is a good thing. And so far it's not going to cost me a dime. (At least for now.) I do plan on expanding their curriculum in a few more months, but for now we have plenty to learn.

The boys will be doing Health together. Because do you really need to seperate everything? Besides I think it will be good for them to do some things together.

We will also be doing cooking together tomorrow. I will have my oldest daycare boy (he's 2) help too. We're making good ol' "Dirt Cups". You know the ones with the pudding, crushed up Oreos and gummy worms. It will be fun. And yummy.

We are also going to the apple orchard/pumpkin patch tomorrow morning. We bought carmel wraps for the apples last week, can't wait to use those!

Then we have History (US for Tyler and Indiana History for Taylor), Math, Spelling, Cursive Writing (for Taylor), Bible (Tyler got a new "teen" devotion book yesterday that I'm excited to start that with him), Health (as mentioned above) and Reading. We'll start on Science when we finish Health.

The co-op is going well. I am really having fun with my 4th graders. I consider us learning together since I didn't know much about Indiana History when I first started. I just want to do well, because this is something they have to have. I hope the parents aren't expecting me to "do the job" of teaching them everything they need to know. I just want them to get something out of the class. And yes, I'm still bribing them with candy. (But only twice.)

So, I'm looking forward to tomorrow morning. It will be fun.
